ARTIST
ANDREA YAJKO
EVENT: AUGUST 11, 2018 NOON-4PM
Washington state artist Andrea Yajko's creations are informed by her years in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic and the swirling tornado of color seen on her many trips to Latin America. For years she has been a high school and junior high school art teacher outside Seattle, inspiring young minds with her boundless enthusiasm and quirky take on color, layers and media. Watercolor, paper montage, acrylics, textiles and more are combined in a unique and whimsical way. Andrea's show runs through August.
